“Simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.
Simple in actions and thoughts, you return to the source of being.
Patient with both friends and enemies,
you accord with the way things are.
Compassionate toward yourself,
you reconcile all beings in the world.”
— Lao Tzu
I’ve been somewhat foiled again this week – too much homework & that whole day job thing. Really wish I could afford to not have one…
As a result, this post isn’t quite what I’d planned, but – after the 21st, I have 3 whole weekends with no school & then I will also, FINALLY, catch up on my reading, commenting & sharing. And will finish the post that I was hoping to have done for last Sunday. Looks like that one is a couple of weeks away. Oh & there’s a compassion post to write somewhere in there as well…
Instead, I’m sharing these words of wisdom from the Tao Te Ching as a reminder to myself that everything will be fine as long as I don’t get myself mired in whatever is not fine now.
