…and yes, an election finally over. And of course I have much to say on the subject, but not today. For those of you that have been waiting for my take on the election results – and the aftermath – I plan to write about that on Sunday. There is a life outside of American politics (hard to believe, I know) & it’s been a busy week at work, I still have a final project to finish up for school, and finals coming up next weekend. But for now, it’s Friday night and I am consciously doing nothing except watching Goliath on Amazon Prime (great series…), and drinking tea.
For something to ponder this weekend, I leave you with this though from the late Elie Wiesel:
“We must not see any person as an abstraction. Instead, we must see in every person a universe with its own secrets, with its own treasures, with its own sources of anguish, and with some measure of triumph.”
