Tuesday’s Quotes – January 24, 2016

“The whole art of government consists in the art of being honest. Only aim to do your duty, and mankind will give you credit where you fail.” — Thomas Jefferson

This just kind of jumped out at me today as I attempted to wrap my brain around the concepts of “alternative facts” and “I think sometimes we can disagree with the facts”.

Lest you think I’ve settled comfortably into an Orwellian universe where facts are merely what we’re told, and not what is, I do promise that I’ll have more to say on the importance of words (and facts) later on in the week.
