We’re back on the road today – meeting friends for breakfast, then back to the hotel to finishing packing and checkout. We fly back to Denver tonight to spend a couple of additional days with family before heading back east for a couple of days before we drive south for more family visits. I’ll need a vacation from all of this vacationing.
So far the entire trip has been really great, even though my laryngitis is still not 100% cleared up. Oh well, the best laid plans and all that.
And because I’m on vacation, this post is short, and not deeply profound (although have no fear – what passes for profundity in my head is coming soon).
So, enjoy the upcoming weekend. And if you feel inclined for some contemplation, I leave you with this thought:
“We will be more successful in all our endeavors if we can let go of the habit of running all the time, and take little pauses to relax and re-center ourselves. And we’ll also have a lot more joy in living.” — Thich Nhat Hanh
